Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews
Troy, also known by his stage name Trombone Shorty, is an American musician, producer, actor and philanthropist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Troy is also an author. His first children's book, Trombone Shorty, won both a Coretta Scott King and Caldecott Award.
Troy recently released his second book, 5 O'Clock Band.
Bill Taylor
Bill is Trombone Shorty Foundation’s Executive Director and co-author of Trombone Shorty, the award-winning children’s book. Bill is a graduate of Princeton University, Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and an honorary member of the Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame, Bill’s passion for New Orleans and its music is a lifetime pursuit.
Nicelle Herrington
Nicelle has produced a wide variety of commercial campaigns, music videos and documentaries. Her notable work includes the short film ‘Mr.Okra' an official selection to the Sundance and Cannes Film festivals, and the critically acclaimed feature length “A Tuba To Cuba”. Most recently Nicelle produced the trio of music videos “Come On To Me” for the legendary Paul McCartney.

Bryan Collier
Bryan is an American writer and illustrator best known for his award winning children's books. He has won six King Awards and a four-time Caldecott honor recipient. For his lifetime contribution as a children's book illustrator, Collier was a U.S. nominee for the biennial, international Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2014.

TG is an award-winning director, writer, and producer best known for The Free State of Jones starring Academy Award® winner Matthew McConaughey. Herrington has been tapped to write, produce and direct the upcoming film, The Polish Boxer, based on the critically acclaimed novel by Eduardo Halfon.
Elisabeth Sereda
Elisabeth Sereda is a writer-producer born in Vienna, Austria. She has worked in the film industry in Los Angeles for over two decades and is a voting member of the Golden Globe Awards.
Drawn to New Orleans culture and stories, Elisabeth is currently developing and executive producing the series “Casket girls” based on her first novel.
